My name is Vaugh Williams, and I am a professional artist with extensive international experience. I travel frequently to sell my artwork and to acquire unique pieces, including concepts, artifacts, antiquities, and materials sourced from historic and ancient cities around the world. My clientele includes private collectors, corporations, government institutions, and museums, both public and private. Over the years, I have built a successful career in the art world and have participated in numerous high-value art transactions across Europe, as well as North and South America.

VaughWilliam Art Gallery is a family-owned enterprise with deep historical roots. Founded in Kiev in 1851, the gallery was relocated to Paris around 1920 by Jacques Richards, grandson of the founder, in response to the political upheaval of the time. In 1941, Jacques Richards expanded the gallery's reach by establishing a branch in New York City. Today, the gallery remains a multi-generational family business, managed by myself and my brother, Peter L. Richards.

Continuing a long-standing tradition of excellence, Vaughwilliam Art Gallery is internationally recognized for its exceptional collection of fine art and antiques, with particular expertise in Russian treasures. Notably, Carl Fabergé, the famed goldsmith and jeweler, was once a client, and the gallery is regarded today as an authority on his work.

Located at our current address on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, opposite Central Park, since 1961, we maintain an active presence in the global art scene. Richards Art Gallery regularly participates in prestigious exhibitions and fairs, such as:
